Camping in Namibia at the Canyon Road Campsite
The Fish River Canyon is one of Namibia’s most striking geological features. It is the world’s second-largest canyon, spanning 27km by 160km of southern Namibia, and plunging to a depth of 550m. This amazing destination is popular for hiking and trail running and famous for its breath-taking vistas.
A stay at the Canyon Road Campsite is one of the best ways to experience camping in Namibia while immersing yourself in this magnificent landscape.
The Canyon Road Campsite’s 10 sites offer easy access to all the attractions of the Canyon, just 14km away. Pitched on the banks of a dry riverbed behind the popular landmark, Canyon Roadhouse, the campsite is just over 6 hours’ drive from Windhoek and 213km from the South African border at Vioolsdrif.
